These hampers are built for gifting and for events, not for everyday pantry refills. Think of a Deepavali box that arrives at a client's office, a wedding favour placed at each setting, a corporate new-year gift, or a festival hamper sent home with every family at your housewarming. We curate, pack and deliver them as finished gifts, with the festive wrapping and handwritten touches a present deserves.
If you are after single jars and everyday staples for your own kitchen, our full pantry lives over at the Henchu shop. This page is for the assembled, gift-ready hampers that sit alongside a celebration or a gifting moment.
What goes into a Henchu hamper
Every hamper is made by hand in our Malleshwaram kitchen. A festive box might hold Mysore pak and chiroti, dryfruit burfi and holige, plus savoury mixture, kodubale and nippattu for contrast. Corporate hampers lean into pantry treats: house masala, filter-coffee powder, artisanal flours and a sweet or two, chosen to travel and to keep well. That mix of sweets and snacks is what makes our sweet and savoury hampers so easy to share around an office or a family.
You choose the size, the sweet-to-savoury balance, and whether the hamper is fully vegetarian or Jain-friendly. We can add your branding, a message card or a festival greeting, and pack in eco-friendly boxes that look considered on a desk or a puja table.
Occasions and add-ons
Hampers are most often ordered around the festival calendar, Ugadi, Raksha Bandhan, Deepavali, Christmas and New Year, and for corporate gifting at quarter-end or annual events. They also work beautifully as a catering add-on: a small sweet box for every guest at a wedding or naming ceremony, or a thank-you hamper for the hosts after a corporate dinner. Our corporate Diwali hampers are a particular favourite, sent out in bulk to clients and teams ahead of the festival, and they make thoughtful housewarming return gifts, handed to each guest as they leave.
Minimums are friendly, from about twenty hampers for a corporate run down to a dozen for a family celebration, and we deliver across Bengaluru with national shipping for shelf-stable pantry hampers on request.
How to order
Tell us the occasion, the quantity, a budget per hamper and any dietary notes. We propose a contents list and a sample, then produce and pack to your dates. For festival seasons we recommend confirming a few weeks ahead, since the mothers make each batch by hand.
Why Henchu hampers
Because the contents are cooked, not bought in. A Henchu hamper carries the same home-made Mysore pak and house masala that guests taste at our catering, made by a women-led kitchen backed by more than twenty-five years of family hospitality. The gift reads as something a family actually made, which is the point of giving food in the first place.
