Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using henchu.life, placing an order, or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and by our other policies referenced here. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the website or our services.

Who we are

henchu.life is operated by M/s Henchu, a women-led food venture based at GM Rejoyz, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Throughout these terms, "Henchu", "we", "us", and "our" refer to M/s Henchu. "You" refers to the person using the website or placing an order.

Eligibility

To place an order, you must be at least 18 years of age and able to enter into a legally binding contract under applicable Indian law. By ordering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method chosen.

Orders and pricing

• All orders are subject to acceptance and to the availability of products, ingredients, or kitchen capacity
• Prices are listed in Indian Rupees and are inclusive or exclusive of taxes as indicated at checkout
• Applicable taxes and any delivery or shipping charges are shown before you complete payment
• We may correct pricing or product errors, and we may decline or cancel an order affected by an obvious error
• Menu items, especially Home Kitchen meals, change regularly and may sell out or vary by day

Payments

Online payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store your full card, UPI, or banking credentials on our servers. By paying through the website, you agree to Razorpay's handling of the transaction. Your order is confirmed once payment is successfully received and you receive a confirmation from us.

Delivery and shipping

Delivery areas, timelines, and charges are described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Fresh Home Kitchen meals are available only in selected local areas, while pantry products may be shipped more widely across India. Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation windows and refund eligibility differ across pantry products, fresh meals, catering, and venue bookings. Full details are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Food, quality, and allergens

Our food is prepared in home-style kitchens that may handle wheat, dairy, nuts, sesame, eggs, and other common allergens, so cross-contact is possible. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free kitchen. If you have an allergy or dietary concern, please contact us before ordering. You are responsible for checking dish details and consuming fresh food promptly after delivery.

Intellectual property

All content on henchu.life, including the Henchu name, logo, recipes presentation, text, images, and design, belongs to M/s Henchu or its partners and is protected by applicable law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• Place orders using false details or another person's payment method without authorisation
• Attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems
• Copy, scrape, or misuse content, pricing, or customer information from the site

Limitation of liability

We take great care with our food and service, but to the extent permitted by law, Henchu is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of the website or our products. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your use of the website or our services are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business, services, or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the "last updated" date shown at the top. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated terms.
